David and Tom Kelley identify the principles and strategies that will allow us to tap into our creative potential in our work lives, and in our personal lives, and allow us to innovate in terms of how we approach and solve problems.
Too often, companies and individuals assume that creativity and innovation are the domain of the “creative types.” Let us gain creative confidence for unleashing the creativity that lies within each and every one of us.
Creative confidence is about believing in your ability to create change in the world around you. It is the conviction that you can achieve what you set out to do. We think this self-assurance, this belief in your creative capacity, lies at the heart of innovation.
Creative confidence is like a muscle—it can be strengthened and nurtured through effort and experience.
On a smaller scale, we tried to start a social media challenge to engage the Millennial around us to give this phenomenon a chance.

A social media challenge called #creativeconfidence on Instagram where we asked 10 people to follow the challenge rule to post one of their piece of work (it can be an art piece or a new recipe, or a song that you’ve composed) and challenge 2 more people for this challenge. Therefore, keeping the chain flowing.
